HSE COMPLIANT FIRST AID AT WORK COURSES PROVIDED BY CTA First Aid, ACCREDITED THROUGH SKILLBASE FIRST AID.

My name is Darren Hayward, I am the owner of CTA First Aid. As well as being a SkillBase Accredited First Aid Trainer, I am also a Registered First Responder for the Rutland and Leicestershire areas.

I set up CTA First Aid to offer bespoke first aid training to local businesses tailored specifically to their particular industry and to a level certified by the Health & Safety Executive. I carry out HSE Compliant and Certified courses in both the one-day Emergency First Aid at Work and the three-day First Aid at Work qualifications.

I realise it can be inconvenient to train away from your workplace, so CTA First Aid offers the flexibility of courses either at your property or at a training venue organised by myself for your convenience. I train between 6 to 12 delegates at a time depending on the training room size and the space available for the necessary social distancing.  CTA First Aid trains with enough adult training mannequins to ensure the minimized risk of COVID transfer and mannequins to train in child and baby CPR too.  Defibrillator training is included and uses training units that closely replicate the publicly available defibrillators.

These courses are Health & Safety Executive (HSE) compliant.  Each delegate will get a certificate valid for three years and will also get a free copy of a user-friendly quick first aid guide 'Your Emergency First Aid Plan' to keep.  These courses are a fun and interactive workshop, with lots of time for practise and questions. There are no formal tests, the course is assessed in a relaxed and non-threatening way!
