Welcome to CTA First Aid, run by myself Darren Hayward, a SkillBase Accredited First Aid Trainer and Registered First Responder in the Rutland and Leicestershire areas.

Since opening our doors in 2000, we’ve worked hard to expand our curriculum to meet the needs of emerging industries and have provided an enriched learning environment that has helped countless students from a wide variety of industries, sports clubs, schools and carer agencies to attain their relevant HSE Compliant First Aid at Work qualifications. 

As an ex-hotelier myself, having managed and worked in hotels around the world, I understand exactly what first aid training is required by the hotel industry and will tailor packages especially for my hotel clientele troughout the UK. 

CTA First Aid also specailises in training Carers working for a Carer Agency who provide that essential live-in care option that so many families are now finding a prefereable choice.

Our first aid training courses are both realistic and engaging, whilst at the same time offering a relaxed feel to encourage interaction and a feeling of confidence to deal with any emergency situation.  As you'd expect, our courses are professionally run and are very well equipped with adult, child and infant mannequins, defibrillators and of course complete first aid kits.
